Bayeux Tapestry

The Bayeux Tapestry returned to the UK for the first time in nearly 1,000 years, sparking a wave of Norman fever and headlines around the world.
I led several social media campaigns for the British Museum’s once-in-a-generation exhibition, including one of the most memorable moments of its arrival: projecting a 200-metre-long message of thanks to France onto the White Cliffs of Dover.
Creating for a canvas of this scale brought some unique challenges, including, for the first time in my career, having to factor the amount of moss growing on a cliff into the design process.
The result was worth the late nights. The imagery featured prominently in media coverage, the behind-the-scenes film surpassed 1.2 million views, and President Macron shared the image on his own social media to announce the Tapestry’s arrival.

Another film I produced for the Bayeux Tapestry campaign, bringing a scene from the Tapestry to life on the steps of the British Museum with the help of reenactors.
